11 People You Do Not Want to Get Stuck With at the Office Christmas Party

Office Christmas Party opens in theaters today (December 9), and looks set to bring back long-repressed memories of the annual festive shindig for all of us.

It stars Jason Bateman (Arrested Development), Olivia Munn (The Newsroom), T. J. Miller (Silicon Valley), Jillian Bell (Idiotsitter), Courtney B. Vance (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters), and Randall Park (Fresh Off The Boat) as a team of coworkers whose future relies on hosting an epic Christmas party.

What could possibly go wrong? Well, if our memory serves us correctly, just about everything. There’s the guy with wandering hands from accounts, the gal who hits the punch a little too hard, and then the ill-advised hook-ups, and that’s all before anyone even suggests photocopying intimate body parts.

We can’t save you from every holiday hazard out there, but we have put together a list of people you really want to stay clear from.

1. Milton Waddams

Milton (Stephen Root) started out life in a series of animated shorts called Milton by Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge before being transferred to his 1999 cult classic Office Space. And transferred he was, over and over again in numerous office moves that seemed increasingly to feature only his desk.

What to expect: Milton will spend the entire night in the corner by the Christmas tree, until it suddenly and without warning bursts into flames.
