Alec Baldwin Makes His Post-Election SNL Debut as Donald Trump

Alec Baldwin started Saturday Night Live off with a bang this weekend when he reprised his role as Donald Trump. In the opening act of the Kristen Wiig–hosted episode, Baldwin’s Trump finds himself a little overwhelmed by his new situation and his campaign promises (at one point he Googles “what is ISIS?”), and besieged by well-wishers and political allies new and old—come for the Pence at Hamilton jokes, stay for a surprise Mitt Romney cameo, Kate McKinnon’s take on a regretful Kellyanne Conway, and Trump’s “mantra”: “big, beautiful boobs and buildings.” Looks like Baldwin knew what he was talking about when he said that the president-elect was providing SNL’s writers with “all the material they need.”
