You would think, if a lawmaker admits to committing crimes, that lawmaker would be, and should be jailed. Not in California. In a testimony provided to the California Senate’s Public Safety Committee, Senate President Kevin De Leon (D-Los Angeles) democrat California lawmaker decided to admit that “half of his family” is living in the United States illegally and with the possession of falsified Social Security Cards, and green cards. I am not making this up. Here is the exact quote at 1:27 of the video. Just for perspective I suggest you watch the entire 1:33 minutes of video.
“…I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation.”
The quote came from a hearing being held on SB54, a California Senate bill that was introduced by De Leon that would make the entire state of California a “Sanctuary State” (we discussed SB54 here: “California Considering Legislation To Become First Ever Sanctuary State“). Fast forward to the 1:27:00 mark for the relevant comments from De Leon.
This is a total travesty of justice. On November 8 th the American people demanded law and order. This California lawmaker who admits to having family members falsify documents to work, and stay in the United States deserves to be impeached. California is totally lawless, and this lawmaker admits it. What’s shocking to me is his admission that all undocumented people in California have used forged social security numbers or drivers licenses. More shocking to me is the NO response from the other California lawmakers present. NO RESPONSE! It is as if they accept what this law breaker California senator has said as normal. We must end sanctuary cities. This is an outrage. If law makers stop following the law, then the effectiveness of the law ceases to exist. From my point of view California is not acting in the best interest of the United States.
