The European Parliament is considering giving free train passes to youth

The European Parliament is considering giving free Interrail train passes as birthday presents to 18-year-olds from countries in the European Union. The pass would give these young people the chance to have unlimited travel for one month around Europe by train. Advocates for the proposal argue that it would lead to a stronger sense of international community.
