Tom Hardy Stole The Show In Peaky Blinders

We’ve been waiting for him to make an appearance since the first episode of this series, getting to the end of each hour episode and then questioning why he didn’t turn up.

Finally, in the penultimate episode of the current series, he showed his face. Alfie Solomons, the Jewish gang leader played by Tom Hardy, joined Tommy Selby played by Cillian Murphy on our screens last night.

Tom Hardy stole the show when he joined Tommy to sort out some business and from peoples reactions on Twitter, we weren’t the only people pleased to see him.

One user tweeted ‘Think Tom Hardy has just stolen the series with this performance

Another agreed ‘Only Tom Hardy could be in a programme for all of 10 minutes and steal the show.

And another had nothing but praise for Tom Hardy, posting ‘Just when you think  cant get better, in walks Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons and raises it to an even higher level! Pure class!’

Cillian Murphy who plays the head of the Selby empire wasn’t overshadowed by Hardy though, with them both being appreciated.

‘Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy are two men at the very top of their craft.

If you haven’t seen Peaky Blinders yet, what have you been doing? It’s a must see, following the dodgy dealings and antics of the Selby family, a Birmingham based family in the 1920’s, who basically rule the area they live in and do whatever they please.
